- What I have developed in my prototype so far includes the ground where my player will walk, the player character, a few enemies (ghosts), and the player's little sibling who must be saved.
- I plan to darken the game's visuals to match the game's theme and make the main gameplay mechanic more prominent. I also intend to give the character a flashlight as a weapon and have the enemies (ghosts) change colors and move towards the player. Additionally, I plan to incorporate music into the game.
- I am currently facing challenges in creating a flashlight mechanic in my game engine. I have been unable to find any tutorials on this topic, so I will attempt to figure it out on my own to the best of my ability. Additionally, I need to find a way to make the ghost appear in different colors.
- Update: 1.5 - I added health to the player and input some spooky music to fit the tone of the game.
- Next Update: I am researching the lighting tool in GDevelop's engine. I am trying to make the flashlight in my game work as a proper flashlight. I am also trying to make the game appear darker to fit the specific visuals I am looking for in my game.
